That was a really informative podcast, Flack. I don’t have a Commodore 64 but I grew up with a Vic 20.
My cousin had a Commodore 64.
I am not really familiar with the Mad Doctor game. But it kind of reminds me of the movie “Weird Science”
Hi Rob, great episode! I hadn’t played Mad Doctor before but after your review, I found a copy and booted it up on my C128 (it’s a tough game!). I really enjoyed how in-depth you got with this game. There are tons of vintage titles I likely skipped back in the day because I wasn’t patient enough back then. Now that I am in my mid-50s, time has taught me patience and I really enjoy jumping back to these games. Oh and your chip tune this week was the theme from Weird Science… awesome tune!
