This week’s show is about the Arkadia Retrocade in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I spent several hours at the Arkadia arcade yesterday. Here’s what I found!

    Rob,

Here in Texas there are few “arcades” around here, also. This one is in Houston right near Minute Maid Park. Every first and last Friday’s of the month they have “Pac-Man Fever” from 9pm to 2am. $15 gets you in the door and all the machines are on on free-play. I have been a few times. They have a lot of good 80’s era machines, and even new pins. I have been there are few time. Great place. See their web site below.

Also in Houston there is the “The Game Preserve”. They just opened last month.

And down the road from me in Austin, “Pinballz Arcade.”

I haven’t been to either, yet.

Also coming up March 15-17 is the Texas Pinball Festival. My wife, my daughter, and myself are going to go for the weekend and play and enjoy!!

Forgot to also mention the Houston Pinball Arcade Video Game Expo that is usually around mid November. Again, the family goes every year. There is not just pins, cabs, there is also a lot of 8 bit, and 16 bit consoles setup.
