I agree with you Flack that the new Christmas Story Christmas movie was plagued with some problems in its storyline and characterization. If anything, I found the movie dragged a bit.
The movie may have flowed better if the movie was edited at the beginning and by keeping only the last half of the movie. By doing so, the movie production editors would have captured the essence of the original movie.
