Flack,
I thought that the podcast on the C64 Dragon’s Lair port was really great and informative. I remember playing the arcade version of Dragon’s Lair at times as a kid.
I didn’t grow up with the C64, but the Vic 20. I remember renting the Nintendo Dragon’s Lair port in middle school.
But my cousin had a C64. Truth is, I didn’t play it that much at all, except maybe for Super Hang On.
I remember going to my aunt’s house as a kid and I remember my cousin was playing Dragon’s Lair. I guess he must have had been playing the Dragon’s Lair2: Escape from Singe’s Castle game on his C64.
I am not sure if you are aware that the second season of Stranger Things opens up with an 80s arcade and the kids are playing Dragon’s Lair.

Lastly, I remember buying the MS-Dos ReadySoft version of Dragon’s Lair from Walmart upon graduating from high school in 1996. It was $10 from Walmart.
Thanks again.
