Sprite Castle 001: Sid Meier’s Pirates!

Ahoy, landlubbers! In the debut episode of Sprite Castle I play and discuss Sid Meier’s Pirates!, published by MicroProse for the Commodore 64 in 1987. You can find download links for the Commodore 64 emulator “Vice” along with all the games played on Sprite Castle by clicking on the downloads tab. Next week’s game is Winter Games by Epyx, so don’t forget to send in your questions for the Mach Five Speed Round!

    Flack,

You stated that you were enjoying some Long John Silver’s fish and chips, however, your pic clearly shows Captain D’s. Man, love me some Cap’n D’s!

Loving the Sprite Castle podast BTW, and hopefully you will do a Gunship episode. Spent many hours on that, and pretty much all of Microprose’s sims. Ah, I do miss the huge instruction novels that came with them. I still have all of my PC sim manuals, but sadly, none of my Commodore stuff.
